"Breathing comes out as frozen icicles...-42 celcius... toes & fingers are numb.... the body is crying for rest & warmth... still 5 more hours are left for the summit...."
How do you accomplish the "impossible" when the conditions are extremely adverse and the odds seem stacked against you? What is the relation between mountaineers, climbing the highest peak of Antarctica and business life?
Using the incredibly challenging Mt. Vinson climb as analogy to a tough project whose "summit" seems unreachable, we challenge you to follow the long and arduous "climb" and get to the top. The gear for this expedition will be a truly inspirational power talk and a couple of themed team activities (optional).
December 1999: on the eve of the new millennium, the first ever Greek team, climbed the remotest peak of the world, the Mt Vinson in Antarctica! Thodoris Papagiannis, a member of this historical mission, will unfold the chronicle of reaching to the top and point out the factors that led to success.
Achievements like this become a source of inspiration for millions of people around the globe. Our goal is exactly the same. To stimulate the spirit and convey the unique sense of accomplishment that comes from achieving the extraordinary.
The power talk lasts 45-60 minutes, includes lots of original pictures, a five minutes video and a small exhibition with selected original pieces of equipment used at the edge of the world.
Additionally to the power talk, you can put your team to the test with one of our themed modules:
- Module 1: Critical decision board game
- Module 2: Extreme team performance
- Module 3: Achieving the Impossible
