About the event

Have you watched the movie “The Castaway”? Well, even if you’ve missed Tom Hanks trying to escape a deserted island with a volleyball as his sidekick, you can experience it with this game!

Stranded on a deserted island, you and your team will have to figure out a way to gather any scrap materials washed on the shore and build yourselves a raft. And be the fastest team outta here!

Event details

Teams of 8-12 passionate people arrive at the beach where we introduce the to the scenario by stripping them of their tech gear and belongings (Don’t worry they keep their clothes). The teams are challenged to go through our “survival” activities (optional) where they will prove their skills and gather valuable points.

Once the group have completed the survival boot camp, they can exchange their points with materials that will help them build their rafts the best way possible.

The teams spend at least 30’ building their rafts, before we have them all on the starting line for the race! Hopefully they have spent some of their points on buying paddles!!!

Supply Chain Leader, Dow
Summit did a great job to keep the teams committed to focus on and work out all different activities we have been asked to do. Its members are very nice and sympathetic, regardless of the age and different background characterizing our Dow Europe team. Personally had lots of fun both days. Thanks!
