No light speed driving, no fumes, no exhausts booming your ears, not even huge crowds to cheer along... You might think, there is no substitute for real F1 races, but Soapboxes are here to overwhelm you with creativity booming your senses, though a notch less speed, due to human bio-mechanics limitations!
It's not about winning it out, it's all about letting your engineering & creative talents free. Of course, crossing the finish line will add some adrenaline of competitiveness and champagne will be popped to receive the thrill of victory!
Getting started, we strongly advise you, to put your team through our Driver's Safety Bootcamp first (optional), getting you tuned up as a team, before letting you tune up your racing car! Each course of the Safety bootcamp will earn you different assembly parts (wheels, steering wheel, brake and driving system) for your car.
Letting safety aside, we will split each team of 8-12 persons, into Designers & Engineers groups, let you unbox the car kit and show you to your tool kit & RFM manual! If everything works smooth for you, we expect you assemble, decorate, test and agree on your racing strategy, before you bring your car forth and present it's assets to the rest of the teams.
In the end, the time comes to race your cars (betting is allowed too). The fastest round wins the race and yes, champagne & a Soapbox Golden Cup will be awarded to the winning team!
